But it's possible they might've subsequently added a better piece when they accepted a commitment from Iowa grad-transfer Isaiah Moss on Monday.
"We've obviously been looking for shooting throughout this recruiting period and we feel like we have addressed some of those needs with Isaiah's addition," Kansas coach Bill Self said.
Moss is a 6-foot-5 guard from Chicago who averaged 9.2 points and 1.8 assists in 24.1 minutes per game last season for an Iowa team that won 23 times and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
More to Self's point, Moss made 42.1% of the 114 3-pointers he attempted — and has made 40.2% of the 241 3-pointers he's taken over the past two seasons.
So Kansas is now No. 7 in the 2019-20 CBS Sports Top 25 And 1 college basketball rankings — up from No. 12 in the previous update.
